Frédéric Chopin (1810 – 1849) – Ballade No. 4 in f minor, Op. 52 (10’)

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827) – Sonata No. 30 in E Major, Op. 109 (20’)

Robert Schumann (1810 – 1856) – Kreisleriana, Op. 16 (30’)

Born in Suzhou, China, Huan Zhang is currently a student at the Royal College of Music, in its master’s degree program in piano performance. She held a bachelor’s degree in piano performance and music theory from the Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as had minors in classics and cognitive science from the Case Western Reserve University in the United States. From year 2015 to 2018 she had been a student at the Juilliard pre-college. Previously, she attended the Shanghai Music Middle School affiliated to the Conservatory in China. Her recent orchestral performances include the Chopin Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 as well as Mozart Concerto No. 25 in C major, K. 503 with the Vidin Sinfonietta. She is currently under the guidance of Professor Dina Parakhina. Huan has attended festivals such as the Salzburg Mozarteum, the Sarasota, and the Gilmore.
