Thursday Lunchtime Concert – Music Across the pond

Music Across the Pond is a summer training program aimed at teaching the intricacies of art song performance to classical singers and pianists.  Founded in 2011, MAP, has brought over 100 students from around the world to England each June to work with our world-class tutors and master teachers.

The programme at St. Mary Le Strand will feature our students and tutors in an exciting variety of art songs from many international styles and time periods.  Composers include:  Mozart, Strauss, Clara Schumann, Schubert, Bolcom, Rossini, Vaughan Williams, Elgar and many others.
