Praised for his “limitless palette of colours” and “technical mastery and authority”, Italian pianist Nicolas Ventura is emerging as one of the most compelling artists of his generation. His recent London debut at Cadogan Hall featured Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto was described as “monumental” (Christopher Axworthy Music Commentary).

He has appeared at major venues across Europe, including Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Palau de la Música Catalana, Teatro La Fenice and numerous others. He has collaborated with distinguished artists including Michael Guttman and members of the New York Philharmonic, and has performed with orchestras such as the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau and the Danube Symphony Orchestra.

A prize-winner at the Concours International d’Île-de-France, he is regularly invited to international festivals including the Oxford Piano Festivaland the Patmos Music Festival. A recording artist with Delphian Records, he will release his debut commercial album, Origins (Prokofiev and Bloch), in February 2027.

Born in Tuscany, Nicolas studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, with Tatiana Sarkissova and Dina Parakhina. He now specialises with Roberto Prosseda and with William Grant Naboré at the prestigious Lake Como International Piano Academy. He is the recipient of numerous awards among which the DipRAM and the Oleg Prokofiev Trust Award.

Upcoming highlights include concerto debuts with the Surrey Mozart Players and the Rokka Orchestra in Greece.
