June Lee, Violin

June Lee, South Korean violinist from Seoul, finished master of performance with Distinction and studying Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London under professor Itzhak Rashkovsky. Ms. Lee finished her Bachelor Degree, master degree and Artist Diploma under Professor Sung-ju Lee and Koichiro Harada in the Korea National University of Arts with outstanding grades.

She performed ‘Work’ by Kim Yong-geol Dance Theater as a violin soloist at Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. As a member of Joy of strings from 2007 performed at European tour 2013, Belgium 2014 and Japan 2015 and attended a recording ‘Slavic Sketches’ published by Universal Music. She performed at Berlin Konzert Haus as a member of Ensemble Pan and participated recording of ‘Parasite’ film music (2019, composer: Jung Jae-il).

Upon coming London, Ms. she was Concertmaster of RCM Symphony orchestra and selected for the London Symphony Orchestra string experience scheme in 2021/22.

 

Seungyeon Lee, Guitar
A delicate and emotional performer, guitarist Seungyeon Lee was born in South Korea.
Seungyeon studied as a full-time scholarship student under the guidance of Professor Allan Neave and Matthew McAllister at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and graduated with honour of the 1st class.

Seungyeon won many competitions, including Vienna International Music Competition, Germany Guitar Competition and National Youth Music Competition, Seoul Mayor’s Award, and 2022 winner of International Music Competition in Paris. Seungyeon actively participated in ensemble and chamber music as well as solo, therefore she has performed many festivals such as Ullapool Guitar Festival, Big Guitar Weekend, Leeds College of Music.

With great interests not only classical guitar, but also in film music, musical music, transcribing and arranging, Seungyeon has worked as a performer and as an arranger in a music team for musical Ben-Hur, Frankenstein, We will rock you, A better tomorrow and participated in musical recordings as a guitarist.
Seungyeon is currently a masters student at the Royal College of Music with Professor Gary Ryan as a Full-time scholarship holder.
